What is a LAYAYA S.T.E.A.M. Team? We use art as a vehicle to teach aspects of science, technology, engineering, art & math across our departments with special projects to give students vital skills and open doors to success! Whether we are using computer aided design software to make plans for a large sculpture, learning about film editing during a performing arts production, building park benches in our workshop class, or exploring science experiments during our "Weird Science" sessions - hands on learning through creativity is key to the success of our LAYAYA participants! Our classes are taught by dedicated and experienced mentors. Using proven teaching strategies, they make sure that every student finds a path to success and explores options for future career paths through creativity, real-life skills and fun!
