This summer session is for students ages 9& 10 who have successfully completed the spring session or students ages 11-17 who are interested in and committed to learning art skills and are able to work on group and individual projects. We ask that students attend a minimum of 75% of classes if they commit to the session.
Successful students would be able to work well in a group setting while following instructions. Groups are divided by age and skill level. Each group has limited space available. The most important requirement is a commitment to attend the weekly sessions, stay on task to finish projects and a willingness to learn and develop new art skills while having fun and making new friends!
We are excited to partner with Plaquemines Parish Dept. of Arts, Parks & Recreation to offer this 3 month session at no charge to our students! While there is no financial investment, do ask that students attend regularly and take full advantage of the program while in class.
We love our community, so feel free to visit during normal business hours or make an appointment and come see us!
