Frequently Asked Questions

As a general rule, each department meets at least once per week but there are exceptions. When our theater department is nearing a performance date, they may meet more often. We sometimes do special "work days" to get big projects done or to just get together to creative something awesome! 

LAYAYA is set up to bring beginner, intermediate and advanced students together to work on projects and productions. As long as the student is willing to work towards improving skills and growing in their art - we can find the right spot for them!  Dedication to learning and growing is key!

Our goal is to never have a student left out because they have an inability to pay dues. We work with each family to figure out an approach that will allow the student to stay engaged if they are dedicated and have a financial hardship! Monthly dues range from $65 - $85 per student. We also offer some community days that are sponsored by our community partners. Be sure to sign up for our newsletter so that you will be the first to know of any opportunities!
