Creative Writing - LAYAYA Published Author Project

Since 2011, LAYAYA has held weekly creative writing sessions year-round to help young authors realize their dream of becoming a published author.  SInce that date we have had the youngest published authors in the state of Louisiana! Several of our young authors have published novels (and some have published sequels to those novels!). We have also had several collaborative projects published (collections of short stories, poetry and more).  Our young authors retain copyrights to their work and are directly paid for royalties of book sales through national distributers. 

Through the LAYAYA creative writing department, young authors are guided to complete their novel or collection and are part of the process all the way through editing, ISBN assignment, approval for global distribution and finally the release of the published work. 

Novels are sold by booksellers worldwide including Barnes & Noble, Amazon and many other retail outlets. 

Students age 12 and up who are dedicated to writing weekly, working through the project and meeting the deadlines and requirements for publishing are encouraged to apply.
